WAXING

Please AVOID waxing if you have sunburn, open sores or recently have had any skin procedure such as microdermabrasion, skin resurfacing, peels or any heavily exfoliating procedures. Please advise your therapists prior to your scheduled appointment if you are taking any medication or antibiotics.

LASH LIFTS

We kindly ask that 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to AVOID curling your lashes with a lash curler and wearing eye makeup to ensure maximum results from your lift. Please avoid caffeinated beverages and remove contacts before your appointment.

TANNING

We advice to wax or shave 48 hours before your tanning appointment and exfoliate and moisturize 24 hours prior to you tan. This ensures your skin is perfectly prepared and will maximize results for a smooth, even, glowing tan.

ALKALINE TREATMENTS

You MUST be using BETAGEL and EFA's  and any other prescribed or recommended products day and night for 2 weeks prior to treatment. 
Please do not exfoliate for 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Please AVOID or RESCHEDULE if you are  nursing or pregnant, have sunburn or any cuts or broken skin, active or forming cold sores. AVOID this treatment if you have used any following in the last 48 hours: Retin-A, Renova, Prescription skin care products.

REMODELING PROCEDURES

It is recommended that you have at least 4 - 6 enzymes before treatment and MUST be on all recommended home prescriptives procedure usually takes around 7-10 days.

TATOOING PROCEDURES

• Do not drink alcohol within 24 hours prior to treatment.

• Some medications may cause adverse effects, please call for further advice if you are currently taking any medication. A Doctor's approval may be required before proceeding.

• Cease intake of fish oil supplements and blood thinners, 1 week before treatment.

• Consider upcoming social events or work-out commitments for the week following your treatment.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding please call for further advice.

• If the area you would like treated has an existing cosmetic tattoo we request a clear photo to be provided to your artist.

• Protect area from sun exposure 2 weeks prior to treatment.

Please avoid purchasing numbing products such as Numit or Emla. These products are generally half the strength of what we recommend. Do not order more for your touch-up, this formulation provides enough product for both treatments.

AFTER CARE

• Do not touch the tattooed area with your fingers.

• Your brows will appear warmer in colour this will settle in the skin as they heal. Lips will be very bright and intense in colour for the first week. Eyeliner may be slightly thicker initially.

• Gym/Exercise: The following activities should be avoided for 48 hours after treatment: cardio workout, excessive sweating sauna, hot spa, spray tanning, steam from dishwasher/oven.

• For 2 weeks following treatment, avoid chlorinated & salt water pools, high UV exposure, sun beds and infra-red light exposure.

• Colour will appear darker than desired for 5-7 days.

• Wash with gentle cleanser morning & night for 5 days.

• Avoid makeup on the treated area until healed.

• Do not pick the flaking skin or formed scabs.

• Excessive exposure to sun over time will cause fading.

• Wear SPF where possible.

• Certain chemicals in cleansers and moisturisers will accelerate fading and may discolour the tattoo: AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, bleaching agents and chemical peels must be kept away from the area.

• Expected healing time: 5-10 days.

• It is recommended that you return for a perfection visit 4-6 weeks after your treatment for any necessary adjustments
